We provide this information pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) to people who contact us through the termis.sk website, by email or by phone.

Enquiries via the contact form
Purpose: handling your enquiry, preparing a quote and agreeing on the next steps.
Data processed: full name, phone, email, location, type of service, product or model, for a heat pump the build stage and whether you have a project or certificate, message text.
Legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). The consent you confirm in the form ensures that you are informed about the processing before sending it.
Retention period: while your enquiry is being handled and then for a maximum of 12 months if no contract results from it. If a contract is concluded, we keep the data for its duration and for the period required by law.
How the data is processed: data from the form is not stored in the website database. It is sent by email to the mailbox obchod@termis.sk.
Communication by email and phone
Purpose: answering your questions and communicating about your order.
Legal basis: pre-contractual steps or performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), or our legitimate interest in answering questions (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention period: a maximum of 12 months from the last communication if no contract is concluded.
Performance of contracts and accounting
Purpose: sales, installation, servicing, warranty claims and accounting.
Legal basis: performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and compliance with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR), in particular under the Accounting Act and the VAT Act.
Retention period: for the period required by law – accounting documents are generally kept for 10 years.
Recipients of data
Data may be processed by our processors to the extent necessary to provide their services:
- the web hosting provider (Websupport s.r.o.),
- the email service provider,
- an external accounting firm, if we use one,
- Google – only if you open the Google Maps directions link yourself; in that case Google’s policies apply.
- Google Ireland Limited – Google Analytics, only if you consent to analytics cookies.
We do not transfer data to countries outside the European Union, except where this results from the services of the recipients listed above and an adequate level of protection is ensured.
Obligation to provide data
Providing your data is voluntary. However, without your contact details we cannot handle your enquiry or get in touch with you.
Website analytics
Purpose: finding out how the website is used and how many enquiries it brings.
Data processed: an identifier in cookies, pages visited, approximate location, device and browser data. The content of the form is not sent to Google Analytics.
Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time in the cookie settings.
Retention period: 14 months.
Automated decision-making
No automated decision-making or profiling takes place when your personal data is processed.
