You can obtain a state contribution for a heat pump from the Zelená domácnostiam II (Green Households II) project, run by the Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency (SIEA). You reserve the contribution and, after installation and payment of the invoice, it is paid directly into your account. Climaservice s.r.o. is certified to install heat pumps eligible for the state subsidy, and we will help you prepare so that you meet the programme deadlines.
Current status
- Registration of applications has been open since 26 October 2026.
- Reservation of funds can be requested from 2 November 2026. The order is decided by the time the reservation is submitted, not the registration.
- Reservations are confirmed gradually, as funds are released.
- €28.6 million has been allocated to the project, of which €1.6 million is for the Bratislava Region. Because the budget for our region is limited, it is worth preparing your documents in good time.
Who can apply
- An individual who owns a family house or a separate flat in a family house. In the case of co-ownership, the programme rules on decisions about jointly owned property apply.
- The house must be registered in the land register and have a registration number. The contribution is not provided for houses under construction.
- The property must not belong to a legal entity or be part of an entrepreneur’s business assets. Renting it out counts as an economic activity.
- Flats in apartment buildings cannot receive support for the time being.
- The unit must be supplied, installed and put into operation after 1 January 2024 and must be operated for at least 5 years from the effective date of the contract.
Which heat pumps are supported
Electric heat pumps included in the list of eligible equipment may be supported. Air-to-air heat pumps are only supported in properties without a hot water heating system. Before you order, we will check that the proposed Daikin unit is on the list.
The 15% bonus applies to households that stop using solid fuels, or to the installation of a zero-emission unit in an air quality management area. You can calculate the amount of the contribution in the official calculator.
How to proceed
- You consult us, choose a unit and agree on an installation date.
- You register your application for the contribution.
- You request a reservation of funds and the application is placed in the queue.
- After the reservation is confirmed, you have 45 days to complete the installation, pay the invoices in full and submit the complete application.
- SIEA verifies the conditions and sends you a contract to sign.
- After the signed contract is delivered, the contribution is paid into your bank account.
How we can help
- a heat pump design tailored to your house and a quote,
- checking whether the unit is on the list of eligible equipment,
- certified installation and commissioning on the agreed date,
- the invoice and installation documents you need for the application.
You can read more about choosing a unit on the Daikin heat pumps page and in the article Heat pump subsidy 2026: the new Zelená domácnostiam II.
Frequently asked questions
Does the installation have to be done by a company from the list of contractors?
Not in Zelená domácnostiam II – you are free to choose the company. However, the household must verify that the company is professionally qualified and authorised for the type of unit in question.
Who submits the application?
Registration is primarily done by the household, and SIEA recommends submitting the application yourself. The application must contain the contact details of a household member, and the contribution cannot be sent to a business account.
What if I miss the 45-day deadline?
The deadline cannot be extended. If you do not submit a complete application in time, the reservation is automatically cancelled. We therefore recommend agreeing on both the unit and the installation date before making the reservation.
Can I get a contribution for a unit that has already been installed?
Yes, if it was supplied, installed and put into operation after 1 January 2024 and meets the other conditions.
Can the subsidy be used for a new build?
Not for a house under construction. The house must be registered in the land register and have a registration number. If you are building, check the current conditions at the time of applying on the free SIEA helpline, and plan the heat pump design independently of the subsidy. See also a heat pump for a new build.
