When a multi-split is worthwhile
- you want to air-condition several rooms at once,
- there is little space for outdoor units on the façade, terrace or balcony,
- you are building or renovating, so the pipework can be prepared in good time.
What to watch out for
A multi-split is not automatically better than several separate air conditioners. If the outdoor unit fails, none of the rooms work, and all units either cool or heat at the same time. The pipe runs are longer and the design has to take into account how many rooms you will use at once. The Daikin Multi system

New build or renovation
It is easiest to plan a multi-split while pipes can still be run in walls and ceilings. So please get in touch before the plastering is finished and see air conditioning pre-installation. In an occupied house, we design the routes to keep alterations to a minimum.

Installing one outdoor and two indoor units costs approximately €670 including VAT as an indicative price, excluding the equipment. The final price depends on the number and type of indoor units, the output of the outdoor unit, the length of the pipework, openings through walls and the electrical connection.
